Dear,
If last step QNAP finder cannot search the NAS, maybe the LAN port has problem.
Please contact your local reseller or distributor for repairing request and they will help
to send it back to RMA center if under warranty. Because we cannot receive your correct
S/N (main unit) , and wish you could check your purchase date and provide to reseller/distributor.
If any concerned , please feel free to tell us. Thanks.
sua risposta:Dear Tommy,
my NAS is no longer under warranty, how can I proceed to repair?
Since the NAS has been a gift, I do not know my local reseller.
What is the approximate cost of repair (including shipping costs from Italy) on my NAS (QNAP TS-219P)?
Best regards
1. if out of warranty, repairing will be charge for spare psarts replacement , examination and freight.
2. If fine, we will recommend how about purchase a new model (TS-221 , TS-x51 or other model if budget is enough)
Actually we have no idea the price in your local market and you could try to refer to some retail or online store better.
Regarding the original data on previous system (the RAID is JBOD), it's possible for data backup if a new NAS is ready or you need a linux server/workstation. Maybe you could think about your plan for repairing or new purchase.
After new hardware is ready, we could provide some solution to help for data access. Thanks.
